Technical Information by Application
ACE

Windows® Internet Explorer® Version 6.0 and higher is the supported web browser for accessing ACE.

Direct Deposit Pay Stubs, W-2, and Leave Balance/Time Taken can be viewed and printed using Adobe® Reader® Version 6 and higher.

MAGIC
MAGIC Software Downloads

MAGIC software is available to State personnel only on a secured web server. State personnel must log on to the server to download the program files. Contact the MMRS Network Manager if assistance is needed.

MAGIC Technical Requirements

MAGIC Technical Requirements provide agencies the specific technical requirements for computers, laptops, browsers, operating systems, printers, and other software for Phase I of MAGIC. This information is provided separately for WebGUI and SAPGUI access for both Windows and Non-Windows machines.

MAGIC is comprised of multiple components that are accessed through the MAGIC Portal;

  • * ECC - Enterprise Central Component
  • CRM - Customer Relationship Management
  • SRM - Supplier Relationship Management
  • SUS/ROS - Supplier Self-Service/Registration of Suppliers
  • BA - Business Analytics

* While most users will access MAGIC via WebGUI, a small subset of ECC users will require installation of SAPGUI on their workstations.

MAGIC FTP Server Management

The MAGIC FTP Server Management process provides instructions on how to process files for the inbound and outbound interfaces for agencies.

MERLIN / COGNOS

Agencies are responsible for purchasing their own Cognos Impromptu User licenses and keeping the annual maintenance for these licenses current. Agencies should contact Information Technology Services (ITS) on the process of purchasing the licenses and maintenance.

Cognos license information should be updated, as necessary, on the Agency Information form in the MERLIN signup database.

NEOGOV

For best results when using the NEOGOV Insight application, any of the following browsers are recommended:

Connectivity Issues

Problems connecting to the State Computer Center, including issues with printing from SPAHRS, should be addressed by your agency MIS Director, or by contacting the Information Technology Services (ITS) ServiceDesk at (601) 432-8080.

TPX login issues are also handled by the ITS ServiceDesk.
