STATEWIDE STRATEGIC SOURCING

The Office of Statewide Strategic Sourcing (OSSS), within the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, helps state agencies procure goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. OSSS develops and manages statewide Preapproved Vendor Lists (PVLs), coorperative contracts, and statewide fleet management services to support consistent, compliant purchasing acress state government.
Effective July 1, 2024, DFA conducts solicitations for personal and professional services exceeding $75,000 for the following agencies:
- Mississippi Department of Marine Resources
- Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks
- Mississippi Development Authority
- Mississippi Emergency Management Agency
The office works closely with these agencies to identify procurement needs, streamline purchasing processes, and support compliant, cost-effective procurement practices.
