Ramona Jones, Director, Bureau of Fleet Management
Due to unprecedented circumstances caused by the microchip shortage, we have announced a final order due date of November 12th for 2022 Ford Super Duty orders. 2022 Super Duty's will be built through mid-year 2022. Ford recommends that you attempt to get all your 2022 MY Super Duty orders input no later than October 15, 2021 to lock in the 2022 pricing and to ensure that we do not run out of production allocation.
BFM has received the following information from General Motors regarding the 12 and 15 passenger vans and the 3/4 and 1 ton cargo vans.
*Effective immediately (10/6/2021), the following vehicles lines are cutoff from fleet ordering.*
Chevrolet Express Van (all models)
BFM will be removing these vehicles from Cannon Chevrolet contract and awarding to the next low bidder, Ford. We will let you know as soon as the new contract is in place.
*Nissan Order Cut-off*
Due to an influx in orders and unexpected system interruptions, we have extended the Fleet order deadline to Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Orders already received and those received prior to this deadline will be planned for production throughout the remainder of the model year. Given the fluidity of global supply constraints amidst the volume of Nissan and Infiniti commercial vehicle orders received to date, order submission does not guarantee order fulfillment.
*The cut off for all Ford Transit Vans, cargo and passenger has been moved up to October 29th. Please submit PO’s and specs ASAP to Landers Ford South, LLC.*
