PROCURING SERVICE CONTRACTS TRAINING CLASS
The DFA Office of Personal Service Contract review will resume its Overview and Updates Training class on May 26, 2021 via Zoom at 8:30 am.
The Office of Personal Service Contract Review's Overview and Updates Class is an engaging and informative 1 day tutorial designed specifically for Mississippi state agency purchasing and procurement professionals. Participants learn about the DFA Office of Personal Service Contract Review, the Public Procurement Review Board, types of procurements, common mistakes in procuring service contracts, new statutory & regulatory requirements and best practices and due to the current State guidelines, in an interactive video setting. LOCATION OF TRAINING:
WOOLFOLK ANNEX BUILDING
Parking is available on the Lamar Street side of the Woolfolk Building at the Barefield Complex Building, North 40 Lot, and also on the West Street side. The West Street side is metered parking and is only available when the Legislature is not in session.
Subway Restaurant is located on the first floor of the E.T.Woolfolk main building and the area also has a variety of dining options, all located within walking distance.

Participants are required to sign up for the training class exclusively in the LSO system. Once you sign up for the class, the user will receive a series of emails; a confirmation once you register, one when your agency approver approves the registration, and one when it has been approved. If the class has reached the maximum number of attendees, interested parties will receive an email stating that they have been placed on the waiting list.
If you sign up for the OPSCR Class and are unable to attend, please notify the Office of Personal Service Contract Review at least a week prior to the registered class.
TRAINING MATERIAL – Attendees are asked to bring a copy of the OPSCR/PPRB Rules and Regulations along with them to class.
