DHS and DCPS Proposed Contracts

Pursuant to Senate Bill 2179 (2016 Regular Session) and Mississippi Code Annotated §27-104-7, from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019, the Department of Human Services and the Department of Child Protection Services (hereinafter "DCPS") are required to provide the PPRB with notification prior to entering into certain personal services contracts, which have been determined to be useful in establishing and operating the DCPS, so that the PPRB may make recommendations within a specified timeframe. The bill does not authorize the PPRB to disapprove any exempted DHS or DCPS proposed personal services contracts. All exempt DHS and DCPS contacts that have been reported to either PPRB or PSCRB are listed below in the following links.
